​We’ll examine how Waco’s people, neighborhoods, and institutions changed over time from its frontier roots along the Brazos River, through periods of rapid growth and hardship, to the foundations of the modern city. Along the way, Dr. Sloan will highlight shifts in demographics, architecture, and culture, as well as the key events that continue to echo in Waco’s present.
